The diameter of the Pearl of Tahiti varies from 7 to 16 millimetres. The most common are between 8 and 10, beyond 16 mm, represent products of a rare exeption.

There are 4 main forms of her Pearls of Tahiti which nevertheless can be modified.
1) ROUND AND SEMI-ROUND

2) LUSTER

3) The producers of Pearls of Tahiti use 4 letters of A in D to classify the quality of the Pearl.
Quality A
Of the upper quality the entirely smooth surface of which introduces only some imperfections (on-10 % of the surface) which will be hidden by fixing in most cases. Have a very nice chandelier. Very rare.
Quality B
The defects are divided between 10 and 30 % of the surface of the pearl. Have a medium or nice chandelier
Quality C
The imperfections are located on less than 2/3 of the surface. Have a medium chandelier.
Quality D
The defects are visible more than two thirds of the surface .
